Check out the Lucid Aids forum for some tips about what supplements and foods can help you become lucid:

If you are looking for some step-by-step WILD guides, check out the Tutorials and User Tutorials sections of the WIKI:

Personally, the only real supplements I use are Galantamine/Choline. I rarely even use that combo. Maybe once a month at the most.

Dream journal- a must. No if's or but's, you need one.
Reality checks- a must. You cannot substitute them for other techniques or foods, etc.

Those two are enough to have a lucid dream. All the methods and techniques on this site are only utilizing the two and concentrating them to alter how you enter and lucid, when you enter a lucid and how often.

Using food and drink will not induce a Lucid Dream, they will only aid them. It is important that you remember this.

Ohh a little bird told me that Apple Juice helps

Apple juice I can confirm does help. I did a test a while back- drinking 2 or 3 glasses about 15 mins before bed. It did increase vividness and number of dreams, but nothing more for me. I did some more tests with apples themselves, eating one or 2 before bed, same stuff, but it's only an enhancer, for me it didn't get me lucid.

And the best part about apple juice is that it is cheap and easy to find. Not to mention super tasty!

It's also easy to have before bed, unlike coffee.

But as I said, don't abandon everything else for some magic apples.

I'm pretty convinced that eating any of my favorite foods will help me become lucid. Midnight snacks are way underrated
