IMO the easiest way to increase your awareness in a dream is through autosuggestion. Forge an idea such as "I believe I will be able to capture every little detail in my next dream" and repeat it to yourself over and over again. As for ADA, I don't bother with that |
|
The difference between effective MILD and ineffective MILD is in how you perform those autosuggestions. In short, just relax and believe. |

Yes it's possible. It takes a while and you need to be really devoted to ADA during that time. I'm getting really close to actually using it all day long now. It's all about practice. Day in, day out. As for how succesful it is: without fully mastering it i have LD's approximately every other night. |

I've always wondered about ADA whether it's the technique itself or the belief that it will help you that has more effect. When I first started out trying to lucid dream I was a pretty dedicated ADAer and it seemed to massively increase my vividness, clarity, got me lucids, etc. but when I hit a dry spell I became disillusioned with the whole technique and just about everything, even recall, went down the drain. I guess belief and intent is important whatever technique you do. |

Always, no sometimes think it's me,
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree

I think the same about ADA, Ctharlhie. I wish it were possible to get someone who doesn't know about lucid dreaming to practise ADA to see if it would make them have lucid dreams. Is practicing ADA likely to produce more lucids than constantly asking yourself, "Am I dreaming"? |
