Thread: I'm starting to hate sex lucid dreams

I love threads with no discussion material.

Don't be so hard on him, he made a point of bringing up a topic, we can still roll with it.

ITT We talk about the bad points of all the different kinds of dreams.

For me it would be that to make a dream really fun, you have to take control and shape it. However after a while having full control eliminates the randomness of dreams, and takes out most of the fun. We all like a good plotline in a tv show. It's no fun taking part if you already know how it's going to end.
If only there was a way to make sure the dream went along smoothly and well, but not have to control it and micromanage it all the way through.

There are ways you can change lucid dreams at will. Next time you become lucid, focus on trying to shift the dream scene, away from the sexy stuff to the more exploratory stuff.

next time it happens put ur hand on her face, then shout the word light and a luminescent light will come out of ur hands and blast that whore away lol.

Or try some passive control to influence the flow of the plot:

"Hey what are you doing there? Get off the bed and find some clothes *throw her a pistol* the building is under attack by zombies!" *cue groaning, smashing door sounds etc.*

If you want to do other things, then do other things. That's what is great about lucid dreaming, you can make the dream whatever you want. I agree that sometimes it can be annoying when you allow yourself to get sidetracked by the sex, just remind yourself that you have better things to do.

Next time it happens, think about me. If only you can have a dream about me, you'd probably lose your mind or something.... over exposure to pure awesomeness.

Sex dreams do get annoying after awhile it's soo powerful its hard to resist then wake up pissed off because I just wasted a good lucid dream where I could have walks around the house to see what it looks like in my dream goto the front door imagine that when I opened the door I would open the door to my old house front door & explore from there on BUT NOOoOOoO I have a damn sex dream >.>
I may have to revisit the old tutorials of how to lucid dream again back in the days I didn't even think about sex in lucid dreams and I wish it stayed that way but that was impossible to avoid as seeing soo many DV members resorting to this kind of thing is kind of sad in a way if you have sex frequently theres no problem with that but having sex in dreams (while having a bad intention why) then yeah thats kind of well weird unlike me sex seems to over power my control which I do not want but I'd like to thank you all for your advice I will definitely take them on hand and to XeL why so harsh are you a social misfit with inconsiderate respect towards people who have no intention to offend anyone

I'm not harsh, nor am I a social misfit. I'm just extremely tired of threads with no real point. The only thing you did in this thread was to rant about how boring lucid sex is to you, and then proceeded to inform us of your masturbation routines.

Seeing that you're not interested in discussion, I'd suggest creating a blog instead.

dream sex is not boring its just annoying when I'm trying to do something else then well sex and masturbation routines I thought I would include that in there because frequent masturbation can lead you to have these dreams which is not true in my case
also I would re-think calling you harsh I would just say you bitch about everything that happends around you

Well, I agreed with XeL's assertion, however smarmy it might have been, but really no one wants to hear about how much you masturbate, no offense. Also the thread seemed like it was created for the sole purpose of complaining about lucid dream sex with minimal room for discussion, which always seems to illicit sarcastic responses...especially since most people on here are happy just to get lucid at all. But I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and ignore all that and just respond. But you calling DV members sad for having dream sex is totally uncalled for. You also shouldn't make such generalizations about us, or assume that anyone has bad intentions. There's nothing wrong or weird about having sex. It's fine if you hold that opinion, but don't make judgments about others on here for thinking differently.

I would challenge the assertion about frequent masturbation, honestly I don't know that it matters. If anything, someone who doesn't masturbate might have more sex dreams if they are sexually frustrated.

Anyways, there's really no need for the hostility, from anyone. Let's just be more careful about making assumptions about other people, and more respectful/patient with some people's threads.

It sounds like you need to come up with a couple of good goals that you want to accomplish and remind yourself what they are next time you're lucid. Example, you go lucid and see a girl you fancy, remind yourself you want to explore the moon and open a portal there... girl left behind, no annoying lucid sex.

But actually, how is this even a problem? If you get lucid and still cannot avoid having sex in one, then it's either a terrible lucid, or you suck at dream control and self control OP.
No one else has problems making themselves not do something. It seems you are just a weak soul who can't avoid a shag even when it's just in his dreams.
