Check out this thread, listing all the main induction techniques. When you DILD or MILD, you don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to do it. Read a little about DILDing and MILDing in that thread I showed you and decide which one would be best for you.
If you're interested in DILD, I would recommend Puffin's SAT Guide. It is a variation of DILDing that goes into great detail, and has some great tips on getting lucid.
If you're interested in MILD, I would recommend Naiya's Simple MILD Guide. She explains how to MILD in detail, and also has some many great tips.
If you still don't know what you want to do, read over the guides I linked to above and see which one appeals the most to you.

You need to stabilize your dream once you become lucid. To do this you need to stimulate all of your senses. Rub your hands together, feel the ground, smell the air, taste any food laying around, and just stop what you're doing and look around. What does everything look like? For more info on how to stabilize your dream click here.
Good luck! If you need anymore help, feel free to PM me
