      Recommendations for LD?

Hey guys. I'm still waiting to have my first LD, but I'm still not sure what I really want to do when I finally achieve lucidity. I mean there's just so much to do! What do you think would be a good thing to try, based on your own experiences?

first thing to do in the dream is to stabilize it and make it last as long as possible. It wont be fun if it lasts for a minute. You can rub your hands, spin... even lick stuff to stabilize it.

Other then that it is up to you what you do, I personally like "exploring the dream scene". Im new to and the slightest bit of excitement wakes me up so i just keep things safe and fly and walk around, (interacting with objects, people etc.).

I also love listening to my ipod, it does not work but you could get some strange interesting noises :/

Won't be fun? I suggest it will be the most fun a human can have in one minute! I recommend visualization before drifting off to sleep. I would tell you why but I am beginning to sound like a broken record on this forum. Read my old posts and good luck to you!

I recommend, in no particular order:
-Just exploring the environment you're in and enjoying the amazing thing that your brain has generated.
      -Flying.
-Striking up a conversation with a DC.
-Telling your DC that you're dreaming.
Short-term lucid goals: [X] Move an object with my mind [ ] Create a portal and use it to get to a dream scene of my choice [ ] Meet one of my book characters

Long-term lucid goals: [ ] Visit the Dream World Academy [ ] Make a building appear at will [ ] Change my appearance to disguise myself as someone else [ ] Find the end of a rainbow

Yeah definitely stabilize!!! Best thing you can do to increase dream time.

As for suggestions I think I'll have a bit of fun with this..
      - If you are starting out I would recommend learning how to fly
      - Eat some dream food
      - Try fighting a dream character
      - Punch a random DC in the face and see how they react (Might lead to the suggestion above)

Hope that gives you some suggestions, try and start out small if you are new to lucid dreaming!

I'd say explore and try to feel the feeling of the dream world. Be calm and know that you're in control.

Thanks for the help Arch, but what I had meant was ideas for things to do INSIDE of a dream.
