      Talking This happened last night

Last night I fell asleep then I woke up about an hour later. My body was not paralyzed but it felt numb. I kept still, I didnt roll over and only needed to swallow about 4 times! I kept my eyes closed so it was like a DEILD a bit but instead of going into a dream I saw a pumpkin floating around and a blurry dark room started to form around me. I tried to get into the room but I couldnt and eventually it faded away. I then opened my eyes and did 2 or 3 RCs. I realized I woke up because my laptop was flashing into the mirror which reflected the light onto the wall next to me! I tried to go back to sleep but all i could see was patterns trying to suck me in. I eventually fell asleep and had no dream recall.

1.How am I supposed to get into the dream room?
2.Did the laptop flashing induce the imagery? (I heard somewhere that flashing lights help with WILDs or something like that.)
3.Is there any other tips you can give me?
      4. I know this isnt related to my problem but is there anyone in the UK who can enter my dream and tell me that I am dreaming? I will do anything for a LD now >.<

      Thanks

Once the dream starts to form like it did with the pumpkin and the room you should hold still for a little longer while making sure you maintain your lucidity. Once you feel a little more stable just go for it. Stand up and take in the invironment. Feel the things around you with your hands because it will help anchor you into the dream. If you do destabilize and wake up dont give up! You probably are still on the edge of sleep and it is actualy pretty easy to bring the dream back. If you don't make it don't fret you have that much more experience and will do better next time.

Yeh keep trying, im surprised whenever I hear success stories to the extent that allows them to lucid dream on a frequent basis.

I meditated alot, improved my awareness, and get lucid dreams every now and then, without any techniques, just "natural" lucid dreams I guess. These are generally quite short, with varying degree's of lucidity, sometimes you can be "lucid" but over taken with emotion that your being moved by it, which can be annoying.

At least your not having to deal with the "terror" that many people experience when entering a dream from half-wake status.

You have a very feminine vibe, its really cute.
