MILD works! But then it doesn't

I have tried MILD, the first three days I used it, I got 2 LDs, quite a success, huh? But then it goes downhill, I simply cannot MILD anymore, after many tries, I give up, believing I don't have proper conditions to LD. Some months later I happen to read dream journals again, and find motivation in that, I remember MILD doesn't quite work for me, so I do my own variation of it, I personally like calling it the MILDC - Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream through Concentration.
It consists of concentrating on the pure intention of LDing, and the area of LDing in general. Wonderful success again, the first four times I try it, it immediately works, 4 short lucids in a row. But after the success, it goes downhill again, the technique simply does not work anymore for some reason.
I give up again, same story, I grab some balls and motivation and try regular MILD again, and, it just doesn't work, MILDC doesn't work also, and WILD isn't just my kind of stuff.
My biggest problems are: MILD doesn't work for me in a matter of waking up too, I can't do: "I'm going to wake up at __ AM/PM". It just doesn't work. Second, I can't keep a dream journal, as soon as the alarm rings, that's 4:30 AM, I rush away to school, no time to lay in bed, and I have to immediately move to turn it off as I'm the only in the family who can do it (IPhone). I don't get any memories, vacations are coming, and stuff may work, but what about after that?

If I missed anything, tell me so I can correct it. Thanks.

      TL;DR

Well it seems like you are quitting after a few failed attempts, thats the first mistake you made. Also the MILDC is pretty much a normal MILD, depending on what you would call normal, since MILD is sort of broad and there are many ways to do it. If you got that many lucids with a technique from just a few attempts you shouldnt give up on it.

By definition Mnemonic implies concentration... making your MILDC redundant (but I understand what you mean) . Try adding visualization to your routine. Try visualizing the last dream you can remember or put on some very soft music and visualize seeing someone skate to the music. Good luck to you!
