Err.... how is this supposed to help? I'm not one for believing in acupressure (for one never having tried it), but this seems really unrelated to the task at hand.

Also in your sig, the quote is from Einstein, not the Third Doctor. Well, it was said by the Third Doctor, but Einstein is the person who made it up.
oh....just another doctor who fan , as for it working,am not sure because i am not the guy who invented it ,but it was so sucsussful i wanted to post it here.

I edited my post because what I said about Einstein was in fact wrong- he said "Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere." Similar, but not quite, my bad.

Where is the evidence that it was so successful? I'm not saying you are lying to us or I know this doesn't work, but we all like to see people who have made this work, and can tell us why.

this is some replies from the original post
      Wow, it really works
I started doing this at about midnight when i fell asleep
I woke up at 5 for WBTB and immediatley fell asleep with no WILD or MILD at all, and i immediarely entered a LD
You will be hearing me recomend this technique and using it as more of a primary technique because it worked the first time trying it.
I sort of got into a lucid dream, but I suddenly came right out of it into a SP.
I've never ever had a SP before, even if I've done lucid dreaming for over 10 years. I heard this woman from my dream talking and singing happily while dancing around on the floor in my bedroom. I managed to open my eyes a little but there was nobody in my room even though I could hear her right there! It was strange and scary at the same time. lach1 I also remember that everything looked pink/purple. Hahahaha, I'll try it again next night, this technique seems to be the real thing.
and this one from the one who made it

It took me some experimentation to get it just perfect, but in the last 4 days, I've had two lucid dreams using this technique. What does THAT tell you about how well it works? siiw Keep in mind, this was after not having a single lucid dream for two months.
      ^ it really works!
i have been more rellying on WBTB but not much luck, using EFT more ofte now along with EFT and a glass of milk, works like a charm.
Strange... After all week of using this tech and after the most exhausting day in whole week I had 2 LD. But I had some problems, which were described in this topic, if you are interested take a look and post your opinion. I prove to myself that this tech works and I will use it as add on to all other techs I was using before and I hope to have even better results! Thanks Darxide!
This night was the fourth night where I tried this technique (I adjusted it a bit). I'm using my DR mantra instead of the "I'm dreaming" one because I don't aim for LD's right now. Two nights out of these four I had incredible good DR which means a lot for me at the moment because I'm not keeping up my DJ and doing so usually results in a crappy DR. In one of these dreams, I was also sort of lucid (or maybe a FLD).
as for how it workes.....just Google search for 'why EFT works' or 'how EFT works'.

Ok well it would be a serious tragedy to just disregard this tech because you don't understand it or can't see how it works. I'm willing to give this a shot, as I am doing nothing else atm, only DJ and some ADA.

This tech however does have all the credentials of being a placebo effect technique, whereby if you don't already know, the sole belief that something will work makes it work (in this instance believing that doing something seemingly unrelated to Lding will help you achieve one actually yields an LD from sheer "knowing" it's supposed to work).

Could you find any quotes from people who have used this for more than 4 days? If someone has been using this for a week or more and had reliable a continual results, then I can see no reason why this tech shouldn't be a good one.

Tried this last night, I probably did it wrong or differently somewhere as it didn't work, just had normal dreams and such last night. I'll look over it again and try again tonight.

Am I correct in remembering this technique uses the karate chop point and what-not (as OP has deleted his post)?
As for if it works, I tried it not long ago, it has some merit. Yes it's placebo and does work on power of suggestion, though doesn't mean it's not a viable technique. I found the act of repeating a mantra to myself along with the different points of 'acupressure' or what ever they were, helped affirm my mantra quite deeply. Turning something I didnt necessarily believe in, into something quite conceivable. If I remember correctly I had a half-lucid but didn't manage to RC the night of this technique. I no longer need to use this though, once you understand the power of your own mind, you can just tell yourself to lucid dream.

@Avalanche, believe it will work for you, and it will, 100% guaranteed.

Yes, it is placebo all the way, with some cleverly disguised MILD thrown in. If someone can along and said if we all put buckets on our heads and sung the theme to Batman, then we would all have lucid dreams, and no one came along and questioned it or looked it up or tried to disprove it, it would be very successful for many people on the first few nights.
Belief can get you VERY far in this line of work. But belief doesn't always get you to where you want to go.

I'm going to try this again tonight, to test whether the MILD combined with finger tapping works at all as a new way to enforce it into the mind. I've gone waaaay past the whole simply believing in techniques to get them to work, I really need to just find one and stick with it. Thanks anyway.
