Taking breaks from trying to ld

Hey guy's ive been thinking about this for awhile now and i think im gunna give it a shot.
Ive experianced amazing lucids b4 just by giving up or getting lazy and taking a break.
Then i get an amazing lucid that just brings me back into trying, then the same thing happens again, again and who knew Again!!!
So im thinking i might just do rc and think about lucid dreaming every other day and have a day of rest. Or every other week idk. What do u guys think about this.
      Bad idea???

Actually, trying too hard can bring you into a dry spell very easily. The key to Lucid Dreaming is confidence. So it's not a bad idea at all to just stop trying too hard and go with the flow because like you said, that's usually when we have a lot of lucid dreams. I've noticed this too. But everyone is different!

I would say just go for it^^

I have inadvertently taken breaks from lucid dreaming. The strange thing is, after taking a long break, I won't have any LDs. Then one day, I'll say to myself, "Damn, I haven't had any LDs in a long while" and 9 times out of ten I will have an LD that night.

Awareness and positiveness are what it's all about. But, it can get tiring. A well-timed break from lucid dreaming can be just the ticket.

      Be positive about it all.
Take a break, It may give you a peaceful mindset for later.
