one method i could recommend for you is dont worry about trying to become lucid go to sleep with a clear mind, you could also find some sort of method while awake to asure yourself you can lucid dream. Like, act like you are a lucid dreamer, im not saying pretend but just think as if it has happened a few times... or anything you can think of. Good Luck

Anyway yea thats pretty normal. There are times when one just cannot remember anything. Sometimes its for one day or one week. I think people call it a dry spell or something. Dont worry about it. It'll pass. Also if you're still having trouble with LD AND you've been doing it religiously, then take a week long break. For some reason those sometimes induce lucid dreams/

      attaining lucidity

yeah, like i havnt lucid dreamt in a long time, and now that i've decided to not think about it(and not obsess over it) i had a lucid dream last nite. it was hard for me to be patient, but now i'm just "letting things happen" they way they want to happen. lucid or not. and if you are having trouble with dream recall, what happened with me was that every time i moved and got more awake, i started to forget parts of my dreams. just relax and try to automatically remember them.

like this morning as i first woke up i couldnt remember a damn thing but i knew i had a few dreams. so i just went back to sleep and before i could sleep the dreams came back to me and i knew all of them by the time i was done writing the first one down. its like the harder u try to remember the faster it leaves your mind. and i knew that might happen so i just relaxed and boom.
