      Which one?

Ok so I've read a lot of induction techniques that require you to wake up and do a DEILD or WBTB. My question is, what can you do while going to bed for the first time of the night to increase DILDs? MILD I guess? What exactly should I be saying during this? And are there any other ways besides MILD?

My first and only lucid was a DILD with a random reality check. That's why I want to work on this the most. I'm not talking about all day awareness or anything, I'm already working on that. I want to know things to do as going to bed.

Yes, MILD is great not only during a WBTB, but works when going to bed aswell. Believing in yourself and perhaps taking supplements will also increase your chances. DILD during the day and MILD when going to bed, that's pretty much it. I combine them and they seem to work very well once you make it a habit and don't slack off.

Since you already practice awareness, RCs and mantras for MILD/DILD in daytime, I would recommend you do some mantras and RCs before bed. I sit on a bed and recite my mantra 'next time I'm dreaming I look at my hands and realize I'm dreaming' while looking at my hands. Then I lay down and say thanks for all my lucid dreams and other experiences and I politely ask for some more. Then I say a few times what I would like that night (I also say this after WBTB), 'I'm dreaming, long and stable'. At this time I can also visualize my dream. You can of course adjust these to fit your needs. Bedtime affirmations can be very powerful, especially, when they are the last thought you have before acctually falling asleep. Hope this helps
