      Question Confusion about something

So, to begin with I am a gamer, and have been for quite a long time. So to say, my brain is ready to adapt to anything impossible and unreal.
My dreams are usually all in 3rd person and sometimes with a user interface, I did have some 2d dreams though.
My question is: how do I LD?
Only LD's I ever had were when I was 1st person in the real world.
I have good dream recall right now, and while having dreams about being a vampire slayer and stuff is good, the 'dream graphics' and such aren't always the best.
I have only 1 idea for now: Do RC's while playing. But will it help? I usually don't see myself as the character I am controlling so it might be troublesome.
Probably I should try finding out about my Dream Signs..

Well, the sole 3rd person or an UI should be a dream sign that should make you lucid. Since these things are impossible in the real world, whenever they happen, turn lucid! It will only help you, I think. Well, that's if you DILD. If you WILD, it won't matter, since these techniques don't rely on RCs and DSs.

Reduce the amount of passive/3D/not 1st person dreams by changing the way you think in real life, such as the technique of all day awareness.

@Sarcastic, you see that's the problem. My brain is so used to 3D and UI by playing games, that it becomes common for him.
@Arch Hmm. When I was just starting out and tried that, it kind of worked for me.

      Thanks for the answers.

Well, this still won't affect your DILD and WILD attempts, really.

Reality check when your playing video games or watching TV or whatever your doing that your seeing in third person. Eventually it'll carry over into your dreams and you'll realize wait, I'm watching this happen not doing it, am I dreaming? and Bam! You'll realize you were dreaming all along It takes a while though, and you can't slack off on the RCs or you'll make it take longer. Every time I've gotten Lucid it's been when I just stopped for a moment in dream and said, "Something's not right. Could I be dreaming?" and realized I was.

I play a lot of games too, and they often carry over into my dreams. Usually, I dream that I AM the video game character though. Sometimes game characters will just pop into my dreams, but more often I am the character. Sometimes I will see myself from a 3rd person POV like I'm playing the game, but not nearly as much as when I just know I'm the character and can do whatever they can do. I tend to "get in the zone" as my brother calls it and completely submerse myself in a game, ignoring everything around me. At first I was only asking if I was dreaming when levels load or I died or whatever, but then I realized this doesn't carry over well into a dream because you rarely load levels or lose a life in a dream. Instead I try to reality check every time I beat a hard boss or mini boss because it's easiest to remember. I'm trying to remember to RC whenever I fight the easy enemies too, but I find it's harder to remember because I am so into the game that until I have that little "break" or cut scene I forget about everything else. :/ Since changing when I RC though, I've started not quite getting lucid, but having moments of clarity in the dreams... where I might say to myself in the dream, this is a game, I need to do this that or the other. Then I wake up and think, I knew it was a game, so why didn't I realize it was a dream too? I guess what I'm trying to say is, YES! Reality check, but your timing is going to be important for effectiveness, lol.
