      Deilding for definite

      Hey guys,
      For about three weeks ive been keeping a journal, auto suggestion, reality checks etc. As expected my dream recall improved dramatically, I tried nearly all techniques according to people experiences her on dv. Now that i started having ld's i realise that only two techniques work for me... DILDing and DEILDing. The signifigance of this is that here on dv nearly everyone posts that wilds are easier and so on, yet i fail to see how??. Other than being more aware in a wild, a deild;
      • is easier to achieve
      • takes a few mere seconds
      • causes less loss of sleep
      • is not boring

      now i understand some people have trouble keeping their eyes closed, but for me it happens naturally I cant be the only one to think this??

      Everyone on DV thinks WILDs are much harder?

      Oh sorry, I havent been on DV for long, thats just the impression I got becuase ive read many times that once you learn to Wild you should proceed to try out Deild. But im probably just being idiotic and misreading stuff.

      Would be the opposite, Deilds should lead to WILDs. But WILDs are worth it in the end since you can have them every day, and deild you have to wait till you go to sleep
      Spoiler for Secret to LDing:

      You can train yourself to recognise when you've awakened between REM periods and remain still, then DEILD from there. It's not actually as difficult as it sounds. Unless you mean you need to WBTB beforehand, but you need to do that for WILD too...

      It's no problem, but I do think that most people know that DEILDs are easier are you are closer to the dream state, in both body and mind

      I find Deild very effective, i can have them nearly everyday. off course the best is starting with Wild then chaining with Deilds. Its just that Deilds are so easy and effortless to attain there usefulll for learning LD's
