      Question Lucid Dream Help?

I have only just joined DV, i have always been interested in Lucid Dreaming, but over the past week i have become really amazed by it, and have had 3 LD in the past 5 Days!
But i need help with a few things..
My first Dream lasted about 40 Seconds i realised i was dreaming and got excited i nearly woke up but i span around and it worked a bit but i woke up soon after.
My second was worse i realised and got excited and woke straight away.
However last nights dream was incredible i lasted about 20 Mins! All i did was the spin thing 3 times and after the first minute of the dream it was concreted and i was in!
      I had 3 problems though:

      1. I could not fly i could only hover on the floor like when your in a shallow swimming pool and you can pull yourself with your hands.

      2. I had harldy any control one minute i was with a girl walking the next it was a man it was wierd.

      3. Was i actually Lucid? while i was dreaming it felt lucid but when i woke up i couldn't help thinking, was i dreaming about being lucid without actually being lucid?

      Thanks for any help..

Sounds to me like you were lucid. The question "was I lucid or was I just dreaming I was lucid" is a tricky one. When you become lucid, just try to really reflect on your level of awareness and think whether you actually are close to waking consciousness.

Just remember that your lucidity will probably never feel as real as real-life does. It will always have a certain dream-like quality to it.

As for flying and the lack of control, don't worry, these are things that will come with practice and time. And congratulations, it's impressive that you managed to have such a long lucid dream after so little practice!
