Ive never OBE'd before and this morning in the early hours of the morning, I was trying it. I woke up and thought I should try it.. so I layed back down and relaxed.. I layed there for a while and I kinda just dozed off but it was weird.. My mind was else where, as soon as I realized i was a couple of seconds away from falling to sleep, i snapped back into focus kinda and remained still, then my body got all heavy and weird kinda but my breathing changed cause I paniced then it went away. Was I about to enter sleep paraylsis or?

yep, sleep paralysis. Cause you panic and you want to be awaken early but your muscles are in rest state and you cant move it. Just stay calm and let it electrify you, your body is just not ready to be woken up!

Yeah the few first time can be a bit freaky.. It took me a while to get used to all those weird sensations. But yes, it seems you were very close.
