I'd have to agree with Oreo, WILD isn't something I'd suggest to people first starting out on their LD journey. However, the choice is all yours, if you feel it's the best for you- then by all means do it.

WILD, in general, is more for people who meditate and have a bit of experience (or luck) with entering sp often and easily. Despite this, I have known many people who have worked up that ability (how do you get experience? PRACTICE)

The biggest problem with WILD, that I see, is that it attracts the most new comers and discourages them when they don't receive the promised results right away. If you have the persistance and dedication to stick with it, then it will reward you. ^^
