Going from near lucid to lucid. Looking for advice.

I have been having a bit of a dry spell lately. To beat it, I have been getting myself excited about lucid dreaming and keeping up with my best practices.

For the last week I have had lucid dreaming come up in my dreams almost every night, or an element of what I thought I would like to do/see in a lucid dream from the day before. Yet, in spite of all these dreams with DCs talking about lucid dreaming, I don't really get it in the way I just seemed to spontaneously realize I was dreaming in the past. I go on thinking "isnt it great so and so is talking about lucid dreaming - surely that will help me when I sleep".

Does anyone have tips or advice on this?

Learning to lucid dream since 2012.

How about this. You know getting excited about LDs is a good way to enhance the likelihood of them. So, for 1 week, I would make a point of doing a good RC every time you think about Lds, get on DV or talk to anyone about LDs. Make the subject of LDs your dream sign for that week. Mention of dreams = suspicion that this may be a dream. It could take longer, but I think a week should do it.

That's exactly how I get lucid, everytime I think about lucid dreaming like now, I'll do an RC and alot of the times i dream about lucidty and im gradually getting better at doing RC's in my dream.

Thanks for the tip. I will give it a concerted effort for a week.

Hi RedNexela, perhaps you've tried this, but is sounds like you are a DILD practitioner, so what about switching to WILD and maybe waking yourself up in the early morning to do a WILD technique?
