stress, sleep length, and things that affect recall will hinder it. By the way, you had the dreams, but dont remember them.

Everything that ThAtaInTme said is 100% true. On top of that, you might be too anxious to record your dreams the second you wake up, causing you to forget and get frustrated. When you wake up, relax, calm down. Wake up in a good mood THAN record your dreams. Hope this helped!

      Dream record

I wake up 4 hours and 30 minutes have I go to sleep. Ii usually have two alarm ps that wake me up. Usually when I am waken up I am able to transition out of my dream and turn off the alarms. Then when I go back to sleep I have a vivid dream. For the last three days that hasn't been happening. It could be the alarms making me forget but that is the only way I can wake up. It seems my reality checks aren't working either. I do them all day.. I ask myself if I am dreaming or not and I see if my finger can go through my hand and pinch myself to see I'd I feel pain. Do you think I am doing anything wrong? What would help me? Thanks for the help!

As long as you put the alarm on the same time every day you should have consistent results, unless it was the placebo effect making you remember your dreams easier. How long have you been using the alarm clocks? You may of just had vivid dreams by chance if you have not been using this technique for very long. I would also suggest moving your alarm time a little later than usual because you usually have more REM sleep in the later hours. Good luck!
