Thread: Dream journal description record topics

I'm doing my own dream journal and i'm looking for good descriptive topics so i make sure to record a good level of detail

e.g. who what when where how why: how were you feeling in your dream, what emotions did you experience

i wondering what members think are most useful

Everything is useful. Record how it happened. How you felt. Who was there. All that good stuff.

You don't need to put it in a list. Just write it how you would write a story.

Yeah all the things Kona said, I also add some analysing things such as a scale of realism and vividness. I also say if I used any lucid aids and whether the dream contained daily residue.

Of course emotions run unrestrained in dreams, so they can become incredibly exaggerated, definitely something worth noting in your DJ
