The WILD method is hard to achieve. If this is your first time consider yourself lucky to get that far . Keep at it every night and you will learn how to conquer the annoying little distractions you face in the WILD technique. Here are some suggestions i can give to you to start out though!
1. It is a misconception that you can't swallow in the WILD method. When you feel the urge to swallow, you can but don't let it build up into a giant ball of spit!
2. What helps relax you and get you into sleep paralysis easier is binaural beats. You can listen to them before attempting this method and it will be much easier.
3. For maximum effect, combine the WILD method with a wake back to bed. You will find it a TON easier to reach sleep paralysis.
4. It is harder to visualize the place you want to go to than just going with the flow with your hypnogogia. Just observe your HI and let it engulf you into a dream.
5. Make sure you are calm, relaxed, and in a comfortable position to sleep in. You will transition into a dream easier.
6. You DONT need to be in sleep paralysis to do this technique. Just because all you got is tingling doesn't mean you weren't close to a dream. Keep at it and good luck!
