      What do you recommend?

      Hello, ive been trying to lucid dream for a month or so now, trying for two months before, but with no luck. I been asking around here and have received some good advice, but i just want some more opinions. here is what ive been doing to LD.

      -ADA
      Ive been practicing this, after reading Yoshis post for the majority of each day i try to notice and feel everything possible. I see myself blinking, feel the ground and my shoes, here as much as possible, feel my clothes on my body.

      -Dream Journal
      i wasnt doing this originally because i could remeber two to three dreams a night without it, even being able to remeber my dreams from the morning at night without trying to do so earlier. I just started dream journaling for three nights now.

      -WILD
      ive tryed wilding but havent put in much effort when i wake up at 4 in morinign.(im tired) so i need to work on that.

      i remeber my dreams but they dont seem to clear, so if you guys could give me some help it would be GREATLY appreciated. Oh yeah, last night i had an unusual occurance. For some reason i felt sudden control of myself in my dream and was able to do something for minute in my dream(no RC no thinking it was a lucid dream), with it then returning to being a normal dream. So if guys have an advice on how to acheive lucidity or make my dreams clearer i would appreciate it.

      EDIT-sorry, but i just forgot to ask, i heard that watching TV before bed greatly reduces your chances of LDing because it causes something in your brain to focus on emotions instead of creative,critical thinking. Is this true?

      Here how I become lucid lately. So I will see a dream sign, which is an someone I know and see in real life. But in my dreams she flirts with me. Then when that happens I know I'm in a dream.

      Here is what I do and not do, it might shock you =)

      I never reality check during the day! Instead I state my intention while going to sleep to be more aware of my dreams and I reality check every time the dream is vivid enough for me to realize that something is wrong. I do keep a dream journal and as you can see in my DJ I write down my dreams and progress very detailed every morning.

      I also practice WILD at my bedtime, because I end up having more vivid dreams that way. And instead of having sleep paralysis as my goal, I have "dream flashes" or a wandering mind as a goal (that you can read about in my DJ) because that is basically the beginning of the dreaming process. In my opinion the sleep paralysis concept is wrong, because you get paralyzed after you start dreaming not before and it also makes new people focus more on their physical body than the actual dreaming so they stay in the physical focus.

      And for your last question. I have also heard that the TV put your brain in brain mush mode and makes it easier for you to fall for the commercials and so on.
      But bright light from the TV or computer might mess up the internal biological clock or something, I am not sure but I think I have heard of something like that before.

      Wow, thanks guys! im going to try what you guys do, and thats funny david. I have a good feeling about what you do though Iapetos, i will try for a few days and write how it goes. thanks again.

      You don't sound too determined.. Record your dreams in your DJ religiously. Turn the TV off, perhaps read a book, then look at your hands when you are dreaming
