      Morning lucidity or daydreaming?

      YO.

Something that happens to me every morning, is that during my last dream (or during the dream in which everyone else in my house is waking up, making noise, etc). I am fully aware that I am dreaming. Basically, I just know that I am dreaming, but it doesn't feel like a dream. I am able to change the plot, control characters and sort-of control myself. But I can't feel anything. It doesn't feel like I am viewing it from first person, either. There are no real senses, I can hear sounds and see, but it doesn't feel as definitely real as my other dreams. It feels disjointed, like I am looking at the situation or watching it rather than being there.

So are these dreams? Or are they daydreams?

More importantly, if they are dreams, is there any way I can make them vivid, snap myself into my dream body, make it feel real? Instead of viewing events, is it possible to transform this into a realistic lucid dream?

      Thanks c:

It sounds like something in between the two. To make it into a true dream, you could try to fall asleep while visualizing it.

Hey! Berto, it is definitely in between, but I have been having these for as long as I can remember. This is how I have always incubated dreams. It freaked me out how must control I had during them, and I "knew" it was a dream, but not even knowing what that was, not feeling everything, it just feels like your imagination went freaking vivid!

Last time I was in that state I actually hit the point where I realized that I was in a dream. I tried to look at my hands to stabilize, but my hands I could feel at my sides, and knew that if I moved them I would wake up. I then imagined lifting my hands up and looking at them and I instantly lost track of my body and was 100% in the dream. So what you want to do is imagine stabilizing, and what it would feel like.

Yeah, that's exactly how it feels!!
Ah, okay I will definitely try to do that if it happens again this morning.

Good luck! I wish you the best. I think that all dream experiences are good when you try to LD, and they can help you, you just have to find out how to apply it.

I feel that the line between day dream and especially morning dreams are very blurred. I agree with everyone else that you're between the two, just not sure how you'd turn it into a full dream other than what BrandonBoss has used and maybe try and stabilise without physically moving yourself?
