A technique that I learned to help remember things is to do this: put in earbuds like you would listen to music on your ipod but don't actually listen to music, read your mantra, say your mantra out loud, and write your mantra. Do this all at the same time and you will remember your mantra 24/7.
Science behind this-The point of the earbuds is delayed auditory feedback from you saying your mantra, writing works another part of the brain, and saying it along with normal remembrance of the brain works it all over which should help. I don't remember specifically which part of the brain these all work as it's been awhile, but it works the left side and right side of the brain which helps overall recall.
Just a trick I picked up from one of my teachers who was a psychology major in college. Works like a charm for me.
