I have a question. I am able to dream and remember dreams all night long without issue. I can even usually manifest any type of dream that I want with a certain context. Say I want to dream about going on vacation, I can usually think about it and it will be the dream I am having, however when it comes to lucid dreaming, I cannot become lucid. I am looking for UNIQUE, ways of achieving lucidity. Ones that really work. Please don't state wild , fild , dild, wbtb or any ILDS because they do not work. I have been practicing them for years.
Don't get me wrong I have become lucid and have had extremely powerful lucid dreams, obe's , sleep paralysis where I have awoken and not been able to distinguish a dream from reality for a great deal of time , but usually all these experiences are random and spontaneous.
I am looking for insight into why specifically when I go to sleep, even with a focused intent, with my consciousness aware that I am drifting into a dream, but as soon as the dream state is more the reality then my waking consciousness, I have zero control and it is like a movie only or it is like I am just going along with the dream rather than trying to achieve objectives. I have dream signs frequently too and see all kinds of illogical things but it rarely jars me to realize that I may be dreaming. Reality checks are usually not effective as well. If they do carry over into a dream, I still have trouble realizing I am dreaming or just don't care.
I have also tried the supplement route and had some success with lucidity and sleep paralysis , but now the supplements have no effect and I realize the whole thing was a placebo. I realize more and more every day that everything is placebo mostly things only occur because I believe they will in most cases.
