      Hey! Nice to meet ya.

      Have you read this tutorial:
      WILD (Sageous)

It is long and takes a while to see what all sageous has to say, but it is a good read and worth the time.

Remember that even people that are great at LDing don't normally try as they first go to sleep. It is just harder. It is recommended to sleep 4-6 hours and try then, or a nap.

WILD (wake induced lucid dream; falling asleep conciously) is also an advanced technique with LDing and gets easier if you have more DILDs under your belt.

      Hope this helps.

Also! Some people are a natural at WILD and DILD just seems stupid to try if WILD is easy for them. I recommend reading tutorials for both and trying a technique for both of them that doesn't contradict the other so you can learn both at the same time.

Try visualizing while falling asleep. Visualizing primes the pump for dreaming as we dream and we imagine in the same area of our big human brain. Give it a shot and good luck to you!

Maybe try to wake yourself up more then usually prior trying.
Today I got up at six, ate something small (banana, lecithin and chocolate), checked DV and went back to bed. After about an hour I WILDed succesfully. I didn't try to visualize actively / I was watching what has appeared in front of me passively. But it could help for somebody - in fact I cannot visualize well.
