Yes, it was a lucid dream since you realized it was a dream. Once you get lucid, you can do stabilization techniques so you are grounded into the dream. If the dream is more stable, you have a better chance to actually do things without the dream falling apart. As what the previous poster said, lucidity is not equal to control, so don't worry if you couldn't do much at first. Generallym dream control gets better the more you try. Try to look around the dream control part of the forum for ideas.
