Next time try doing something about it anyway because while you may now think that you can do nothing about it, maybe if you change your expectation to "Next time something like this happens, I will be able to do something about it" it may help - or even better, since it happened only twice thus far, do not expect it to ever happen again, and hopefully it won't!
