Idea for MILD

So, i was just reading Stephen Laberge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming when I came up with an idea about MILD. At school, I write down the assignments I need to do in my planner, but the process of writing the homework down usually makes me remember to do it. For example, I may write in my planner "Read Chapter 6" and when I get home, without even looking at the planner, I know to read chapter 6. I am thinking of applying this to MILD. Every day, I write down something along the lines of "I will lucid dream tonight." Now, I know this isn't totally original because I thought I saw something similar to this but still, do you guys think this would be a good idea. Thanks.

I use the same method for planning stuff or just for studying for exams, it works very well. I think you should really give it a try because the methods you make yourself are adapted to you and are always the best (for you). I am pretty sure this will work for you. The only thing I would suggest to do a bit differently would be to write something along the lines of "when that happens I will become lucid" because it would act like an anchor that would trigger lucidity.
