Sounds like mantra keeps you too awake, you could try to repeat mantra at slower rate, at least that's what i do when mantra keeps me too awake and it works. |

I agree--this can be pretty tough. I still haven't had much LD success with MILD, but I HAVE learned how to fall asleep with a mantra. I'd just repeat Checker666's advice--slow down the mantra. I find that "hearing" it more slowly (and possibly in a "deeper" tone) can help make it soothing rather than distracting. If I hear it in time with slow breathing it helps me block out other thoughts and I find myself drifting off while repeating it. |

Just stop the mantra after 15 minutes and sleep. Remember that what you say doesn't matter, it is what you mean. Keep the meaning. Drop the words. |

THank you all for the advice! I will keep them in mind when I MILD again, for now I'm going to focus on recall and recall only, when I mastered that I'll go here again and use your advice. |
