Excellent recall - can't remember to do RC's

I'm having awesome vivid dreams that i know are not reality but i haven't been able to do reality checks. I'm working on them during the day but just can't seem to remember to do them in my dreams. I feel i'm getting close though. Thanx to this site and the awesome members I feel it won't be long.
Any suggestions that mite push me over the line?

      Cheers

Just keep at it. Eventually, the practice will carry over to your dream self and you'll become lucid regularly. The amazing recall will only help matters. If you feel like you're close, you're probably right.

I guess that only you can push yourself over the line. Belief in your abilities, be determined and motivated. If you keep practicing then that's all you need You will get there, trust me.

The reason why you don't do RC in your regular dream is the same one why we don't recognize our dreams as not real. Lack of awareness.

We normally don't do RC in regular dream. And if we do, we just do it automatically, as we would do any other action.

What trigers lucidity is not really RC. It's the hint of awareness, that gives us and idea to do RC. Usually we are already lucid, even before we finish the RC. There are a few ways how to highten your daytime awareness. One method is expained here, in this WILD (sageous) tutorial.http://www.dreamviews.com/wild/13181...prep-part.html
And short version+RC+mantra is here, in my DILD article.http://www.dreamviews.com/dild/13212...ods-dilds.html

Well it was a dream in a place I haven't been for 36 years so I figured that I would clue in and become aware. It just didn't happen. I'm working on increasing my overall awareness IWL and don't expect it will be long. It's been a few years since I had a LD so I'm not sure what to expect first time it happens. I never panic or get too worked up over things - scary or otherwise - so I think it will be good. Flying is my main goal and I've done it before . . . but The Incredible Hulk was chasing me so we'll see what happens . . .

      Cheers

Persistence, consistency and intent is what it takes. For the RC's to form a habit you have to recognize them as important and beneficial. The only way to do this is by repeatedly doing them and knowing that they will lead to a lucid dream. If doing them is annoying you then it will never form a habit.
