Hey Iriba I'm in the same boat as you. I've been trying for a year with not much but now I think I've found my sweet spot. Don't focus too much on how you do your techniques. Intent is the most important thing. as ive been trying to focus mine my dreams have become clearer and im coming close to havin my first i can feel it. |

You might not be tackling this correctly. I'm not sure what you meant with 3-5 minutes, but if you meant that you only 5 mins of ADA each then that's not even near enough. Otherwise, I'm not sure what's causing your troubles. It might be that you are not consistent enough, or that you do not have the confidence or motivation to do it properly every day. |

I totally agree with dutchraptor. I practice ADA as well (as long as possible each day without stressing myself too much) and it does have effects on the vividness of my dreams. I think it won't (necessarily) lead to any lucid dreams from practicing it so sporadically (a few minutes per day). However if you intensify your practice (with the right amount of confidence and motivation as dutchraptor said) then you will greatly increase the vividness of your dreams which is something great as well and you will eventually have more lucid dreams |

ADA is amazing but maybe you should try some different techniques. |

I agree with dutchraptor and benni, you should definitely practise more ADA. Do it for longer, at the frequency that you're doing it just now. The point is that you start to incorporate it into your life, so it becomes a lifestyle instead of a chore. You should start doing it longer and longer, increasing the length of your sessions until you're aware all day and it's completely natural. |

Even just a week of rest for your mind can be helpful. Just focus on your recall instead of Attaining Lucidity for a week or so. |

In the end you can still just do what feels best for you.... You seem to like ADA. And if you are dedicated enough then eventually you WILL find a way to integrate ADA in your lifestyle. It all comes down to practice, consistency, determination and motivation. |

If you find it annoying then it will never become a habbit. You will always have to force yourself to do it if you don't like doing it. Maybe you should just look for something else or modify it so that you find it easier to do or more amusing? |
