      questioning dream

      so yesterday night i even had a dreamcharacter tell me i was dreaming. but i gave an automatic respons: thats impossible. i did reality checks, breathing through nose, looking at hand and they failed. (although breathing through nose did not fail entirely).

      anyone got tips?

      It seems like you don't have enough awareness during waking life for it to be in your dreams. And the reality check didn't work because of that; you were probably doing it on auto without questioning anything so that's why it failed. When doing reality checks, you really have to be aware of everything around you. Is anything out of place? Do you know this person? Why did they say you were dreaming out of the blue?

      With awareness, you will have a higher chance of lucidity. Happy dreaming! <:

      When doing a reality check, you have to believe that it will work, no matter if you're dreaming or not. Since you believed they wouldn't work, they didn't.
