      Lucid Dreaming and school

Hey guys! i've had an account on here before, but i forgot the login info, but after a year or two of just coming to the site and never logging in and posting, im happy to be back! So i've been making DILD and ADA my main techniques so far, but im having trouble doing it with school. Often school is the main thing on my mind, as now with clubs and such im usually going to be there until 6, so i often forget to do reality checks, do periods of ADA, and so on... Any tips for me to remember to do these things during the day while still focusing on school? Any tips would be appreciated

Hello, I recently started ADA and have sort of had the same problem but it's nothing that can't be corrected. Instead of trying to "remember" to have "sessions" of awareness- simply try to maintain a constant state of awareness throughout the day. Only at first does it require focus, after you get over the hump, awareness should be a passive ability requiring little to no effort. However I find myself "day walking" or "losing awareness" during conversation or when listening to someone speak etc. Other than that I see every moment as an opportunity to be aware. Hope this sort of helps a little.... I'm a new poster too.

Draw an "A" in the centre of your hand, every time you see it question whether you're dreaming. Or write "dreaming" and put it as your phone wallpaper. Identify one of your main friends as a reality check...so when you see him/her question reality... get creative

      Its late I am rambling...haha

Well, With school things become really routine, which is almost a plus when trying to add yet another routine (Reality Checks) within your already set routine.

If you want your reality checks to happen subconsciously in dreams, It's a necessity that RC's become a habit. It's not hard to create this sort of a habit, the thought of a RC really only needs to be linked to thoughts that you think frequently, or actions that you carry out frequently. For example, if you are a person constantly on the phone, always putting it into your pocket and pulling it out etc, interrupt these actions and thoughts with a reality check. If this is done constantly, it will have a chance to carry over into your dreams. This may not be entirely effective though, its just trying to get your mind to subconsciously think of RC's when carrying out daily activities. Also, If certain things that happen in waking life, happens in your dreams frequently I.E - Driving in a car, walking down a street and turning corners etc, make sure to add an RC to those activities in waking life, so that if they do happen in a dream, you are more likely to think about performing a reality check.

      Hope this helps a bit!

This is what View Profile: Bobblehat - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views (Bobblehat) sent to me regarding ADA, it might help.
You have to dream before your dreams can come true.
