I like this idea! |

Hi everyone. I wanted to share with you a possible new technique. Unless something like this has already been devised.. The closest thing to this idea I can think of would be SSILD but this idea is a little more simple and doesn't take much thinking at all. |

I like this idea! |

an ld technique for lazy folk...gonna try this and report back |
Yes. |

The bird breaks free of the egg.
The egg is the world.
Who would to be born must first destroy a world.
I've been doing this subconsciously for years, and while I don't lucid dream very often my dreams are always very vivid. hopefully practicing the other techniques along with this one will increase my awareness to the point that I can achieve lucidity regularly |
Yeahhh it worked for me this morning! Twice! =D |
glad to hear that it worked for you slumber, and a great idea on your part OP! I think as a general rule just about anything you can do to increase your awareness without making it hard for you to go back to sleep is going to benefit your dreaming. pretty sure this is going to be useful for people more often than not, especially us lazy people |

Excellent news!! |
i tried it 4 hours after i slept. i was very dazed and i tried to feel the sensation of my body on the bed, how i'm aware of every body part and its weight...tho i didn't feel amazing, i felt irritated and had trouble sleeping a few hours afterwards. maybe i'm trying it too early? it would be great if you go into detail, the timing, the thought process , etc. but i do recall dreams better, and they're longer as well |
Ah, I'm sorry, since I wasn't active on these boards for quite a while I can't remember the meaning of all the abbreviations you guys use on here lol. Wanna refresh me? I know there's a post that explains all the different names for ways of becoming lucid and whatnot. |
I feel like its more just a mode of awareness you get into before you fall asleep. Try not to put thought into ''Am I moving around too much?'' or anything like that, its kind of just going asleep, being aware of what it feels like to be in bed (hopefully enjoying it!) and just going to bed normally. |
i always wake up during the night and sleep seamlessly, maybe it's the fact i hadn't had enough rest prior to trying the technique? the technique won't work for everyone but i'm sure it's effective for someone like me, if done correctly. |
It actually worked. |
I'm gonna give this a test run tonight, although I am skeptical. |

Formally Known as MrBlonde.
Interesting. I can try it, but only on the weekends. |
