You could combine DILD with WBTB (wake back to bed) set your alarm for 5 hours after sleep, then get up for 10-20 minutes and go back to bed repeating that mantra. You'll have more and longer dreams in this period, so your more likely to become aware. Also you could try the MILD technique combined with DILD, easy to do even for beginners, which can be found here http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...id-dreams.html. Remember, it could take a few weeks until you get success. |

It sounds to me like you are still fairly new to lucid dreaming, I would suggest really working in dream recall till you have a few solid dream signs identified. Also, work on auto-suggestion, as it can be used to achieve lucidity while attempting DILDs. |

I'm just going to begin and say that you can't "Perform DILD". The technique of which you talked about is called MILD. |

Everyone takes different periods of time to get dream recall down, just because they can recall 4 separate dreams does not mean they do so with detail or enough recollection to pick out dream signs. In order to properly identify dream signs and prepare the mind for lucid dreaming, it should be adept enough to remember even the smallest details of dreams. |
