      It took me about 2 weeks before getting my first LD. What I recommend is checking out king yoshis all day awareness tutorial. It's like dild, but increaceys your chances sooooooooooo much. Also try simple induction techniques like mild, ssild, fild, and wbtb. Try all of these out to find which one works. ssild is easy and works for me a lot. I actually got my 2nd LD :tonguewiggleusing ssild after only 2 tries. Also read a lot of articles, so u know what to do and don't do in a LD. Good luck.
