Hello and welcome to Dream Views! I may not be the most experienced LDer ever (not even close actually) but I've been practicing long enough that I think I can help a little. First off, you have to realize that LDing takes time and I mean lots of time, to get good at, so don't be discouraged if you don't have an LD a night after one week of practicing Also, anything you do that involves LDing furthers you along and gets you better, so you are making progress. Also, you have dreams every night, but sometimes you don't remember them, do what JadeGreen suggested and Dream Journal...that will improve you recall big time.

When practicing LDing, do what feels natural to you. If you don't like something, don't do it because if you hate doing something it won't be nearly as effective as something you enjoy doing. For example, I use Self Awareness which is just not letting your mind wander and daydream, you have to stay focused on the present. I won't go into too much detail about Self Awareness because if you want to use it, you have to make it mold to the way you want it, so its like your own little technique. (I do Reality Checks too)

You can sign up for a workbook in either the Intro Class or the DILD course if you want some one on one help with an experienced LDer. Both are in the DV Academy board. I'm in the Intro Class btw, and it has helped me out a ton!

Remember to not get discouraged if you aren't getting LD's for a while, stick with it and you'll be rewarded with many LD's! See you around, and happy LDing!
