Being Moved While Attempting WILD? is this SP?

Occasionally when i attempt WILD, ill get super relaxed and out of no where start feeling like something is pushing me off the bed or moving me, it feels quite real actually and i never know what to do at that point
If i become to aware of it, ill ruin my WILD but its pretty much impossible to "fall asleep" like that and it seems to last forever.
It sometimes feels as if some invisible being is sitting on my chest, weighing me down and causing me to move.

I believe this is the only thing keeping me from being success at WILD'ing. Any tips about this? Was this sleep paralysis?

The pushing is likely a part of your body falling asleep, its a sensation from sleep paralysis. Whenever I have sleep paralysis I feel like I'm moving at supersonic speeds, which is why most of my WILD's begin with flying. However, to really help you with your situation, we need more info. What is the pushing like? Do you feel any other sensations? My suggestion is that you use it as a catalyst to enter your dreams. Try entering the dream when you start feeling the movement. The success to WILDing is right at your fingertips, so if you use the sensation to your advantage, you'll get some sweet lucid dreams.

      The pushing is basically like
Someone litteraly is putting their hands on my sides / stomach area and pushing me right off the bed lol
It sometimes starts at my feet too, as if something was trying to drag me off the bed. I also had an experience about 2 nighys ago where i had seen a tower during my hypnogogic stage and i started to float up towards it, like as if i was being pulled towards a dream almost. Its hard to explain lol.
And as i was floating towards the tower i thought to myself "holy crap im dreaming" and i guess i wasn't quite dreaming yet because as soon as i thought that, the sensation and everything along with it faded

Yeah, you have to be careful while the hypnogogia is starting to set in. You have to try to keep your thoughts as empty as possible as inner monologue can really ruin the experience. Anyways, the pushing sensation is likely just a part of sleep paralysis. When you experience it, keep calm and make sure your mind is clear. Let the sensation proceed without interruption; maybe when you finally get pushed off the bed, you land into a nice dreamscene?

^^ How about a comment you might not want to hear?

Sleep Paralysis is almost exclusively something that happens when you are waking up, and not when you are falling asleep, and even then it is quite rare, so you likely were not experiencing actual SP. It sounds to me like hypnagogic imagery, which can get fairly intense, or perhaps a dreamlet about your body being pushed, which implies that you were not only almost asleep, but you almost completed a successful WILD.

That said, it still makes sense to take Zaephr's advice and try to calmly use this sensation to help you enter your dream.

I often have body parts just moving on their own. My arm will start lifting in the air and waving around. Sometimes even unrealistic stuff like my legs starting to twist around themselves.

It is pretty normal to feel things while falling asleep. How much attention you pay on it depends from person to person from night to night. If you are trying to wild without any DILD experience, then that is like trying to shoot an arrow at a target over a hill you have never seen over. I would recommend walking to And from the target a few times if you are gonna try the shot.

The two hardest parts of lding is sleep schedule and persistence. If you are putting in the effort for those two things, then you should give yourself a chance for wild and dild.

I've been practicing wild consistently every night, and have been trying to stay aware as much as possible for my DILD training. I'm getting pretty good at both (: Can't wait until i finally have my first "actual" ld. So many things i want to do...
Although i'd probably just side with exploring my surroundings and talking to random girls lol. I may try to change the weather or something as well.
I honestly just want my first LD to be very relaxing and laid back.
