Welcome first, just get enough sleep, very important. Without sleep, no dream. And you should have some free time during the day that can make you relax or meditate. Too much work and thinking can't make you focus on dreaming, forgetting how to relax and reflect back on yourself. Second, don't be too attached on this. Be patient. I emphasize this because I saw many others including myself struggling harder to LD which makes it un-reachable, whereas it's very easy. Any form of addiction isn't good anyway. There's no reason to work hard because it's super easy, as long as you don't give up, you will achieve it.

I would personally recommend 3 things for the necessary habits: pay attention to your thoughts and all senses you're experiencing. Feel what your eyes are seeing, ears are hearing, skin is touching, etc. This will increase vividness of your dream.
Learn how to fall asleep first. One good technique is putting your focus on the back of your head. If you get into WILDing, but don't know how to fall asleep, you will spend lots of nights staying awake and not having good sleep at all.
And learn how to be calm all the time. You can get excited and be relaxed at the same time! You'll have to experience it first... Being calm both mentally and physically will help you a lot how to stabilize in the dream. It's crucial for all things.

This is an advice I wanna give you, that always remember, lucidity is state of consciousness, it doesn't always occur because of a technique. State of unity consciousness easily makes you aware of all things, a polarized mind won't perceive dream as illusion. It can, but only temporarily. Hope this helps you
