Good job, my first ld was blurry and I fell on my face, sounds like you may be able to ld at will if you keep trying, I tryed to make fire come out of my hands in an ld a few weeks ago, and it didn't work .

I have the same method as you, except I'm often lazy when waking up at night, maybe I should try earlier then before.
never thought about it but the first few hours of sleep are the most valubal and non-rem periods maybe waking up right after them would give me more of the night to allow all my suggestions to take effect.

I told a lotta my friends at school and they're all excited and curious about this Lucid Dream stuff. You think this phenomena will catch on to the public, and we'll have an Era of Dreamers? It'd be like a fad, you know?

Anyway- I'm so glad I can do this. I'll always remember December 8th, and my very first Lucid Activity- Shooting fireballs =P

Oh, and I got a question-
Now that I think about it, I know I was struggling through this Lucid Dream, as if I was trying really hard not to loose focus and stuff. Everything was a bit blurry, and a little slow,
If I relaxed, would I get better results?

Wow your friends like lucid dreaming, hmm my friends always ignored it, infact there was a thread were people would talk about how people would react when members would tell there friends about lding, oh and if you want the dream to last longer and be more lucid do this, to make it vivid look at your hand say how amazing everything looks, examine fabric and textures, for more conscous control just keep telling yourself it's all a dream all in your head.

Yeah...that makes sense. I'll give it a shot tonight.
And about me friends...well, they're all pretty trippy people, and love a good escapement when they can find it, if you know what I mean >_>

I know what you mean, I'm quite trippy, not on drugs though, I just have a desire to live godhood, and play out wild fantasy's.

Now that i think of it...
Monday night, I was Shadow.
Wednesday night, I was Tails
And last night, after my LD, I went back to sleep and was Cream.

Speaking of Sonic the Hedgehog, my favorite characters are in this order: Sally acorn, Snively, Robotnik, Sonic, Tails, Bunny. Sorry I had to say it, as one of the few other message boards I go to is a sonic the hedgehog one. (One on SatAM, of course. Not too crazy about the new characters.) And if you don't know what SatAM is, please ask! hehe

And about the dreams, what LDG was as good advice as any.

Cool to see some sonic fans on dreamviews, I remember when I beat shadow the hedgehog, right when shadow was about to save the world from being blown up my gamecube shutdown, very irritating since I was this close to beating the game, my favorite characters go something like this Shadow, SuperSonic, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles.

Wow just looked up SatAM, I didn't think sonic had a t.v. show except sonic x I wonder if I could find some video's on dailymotion.

I remember watching this as a kid, I searched for it awhile ago, but the only t.v. show I could find info on was sonic x

This whole stuff is extremely awesome, and I'm excited to pursuit this ability.

This may be completely off topic, but I have to go on a little Sonic rant anyway. Sorry to all moderators, don't kill me!

There were actually three sonic cartoons that came before SonicX. I will elaborate a little on each.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Dubbed by fans as "SatAM") - Shown once a week on Saturday mornings while AoStH took the weekdays. It lasted two seasons, ending with a devastating cliffhanger that will never be patched up. The characters were a fatter Robotnik with a metal arm, his nephew Snively, Sonic, a much younger tails, Sally Acorn (Whom was replaced sadly by Amy today), Roter, Bunny Rabbot, Dulcy (A dragon kind of thrown in there in Season 2), Sonic's uncle Chuck and various others. The tone is very dark for a cartoon, as almost all of the world is decaying under Robotnik, and most of the populace turned into machines. Sonic leads a freedom fighting group in one of the last prospering forests in a village called Knothole. (www.Satamsonic.com)

After 13 years, this show is coming to DvD early 2007. -smiles-

Sonic Underground - About sonic and his two siblings. This is about all I know about it. It wasn't well liked I believe.

The Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog (AoStH) - This had really only five characters. Sonic, Tails, Robotnik and his two robots. (The chicken and the mole things). Sometimes it had Robotniks overly annoying mother. It was more or less a comedy shown five days a week, making tons of episodes. The problem with this show is that there is no substance to it and It's pretty poorly done. You have to have pretty childish humor. Sally was actually in -one- episode, that being the Christmas special.

I must admit I find it difficult to enjoy the essense of the newer Sonic world, but I've adapted to it a bit.

Annnnd... to be somewhat on topic, My dream journal is in the last page in the dream journal forum. (Page 46). I think that's pretty neat. =D I really find it more enjoyable to write mine out in a neat notebook and have them all for reference like a library

Oh, so that was the sonic christmas special me and my brother saw at my grandpa's house a long time ago, I'm definitly getting the DVD when it comes out, maybe for my birthday if it comes out before then, or after with the money I'm getting.

Somehow I never saw the SatAM show, and can only see it on Youtube.

I luved AoStH, it was so off the wall and dumbed down. Heh, my bro and I watched that show RELIGIOUSLY...

I had a dream where I was in a Level of Sonic. Wouldn't it be teh SHIT if you could have a Lucid Dream of a stage in a Sonic game?

I've had dreams were I can run very fast, it would be awsome if I could have an extreamly vivid lucid dream, of running at extreamly high speeds, or on skates doing huge jumps.

I've played Sa2 soo much I've memorized "City Escape"-
Does that mean that if I try, I could lucid dream that I'm actually THERE?

Most likely A great majority of my dreams are in some video game or another, but I've never tried super speed on a sonic-like course. That WOULD own.

I never did play much of Sa2 sadly, but I loved Sa1.

Yes I've had dreams were I just know whats going to happen next, oh I like the city escape song from crush 40, they make all the music. I love: live and learn, what I'm made of, open your heart and unknown from M.E.

Now THAT is some kickass stuff!

Well if you were to listen to it before going to sleep you might have am increased chance of dreaming about it, the song certainly seems like a motivation to lucid dream, maybe it will stimulate your subconscous to make you mave a lucid dream.
now if you were able to fall asleep with the song playing that would be a definite increase chances of dreaming about it.
I used to imagen myself in a lucid dream intill I fell asleep, thats my method infact right now, image yourself in a lucid dream till you fall asleep.

I suppose if I made it a little quieter than normal I could sleep to it.

Man, the fact that MUSIC could affect Lucid Dreams never crossed my mind

I guess I'll have to run a few experiments =D

One thing to remember though is that any stimulus coming in while your sleeping is being processed by your brain. I mention this because it can often wake you up. Though if it doesn't wake up you and you wanna take the chance, then it would be in the brain while dreaming.

I've tried a few times though, and sadly it had no effect. But you may have better results. There have been instances where the song played loudly in my dream when I wasn't listening to anything in real life though. Talk about blissful.

If i play it so soft that it borderlines on subliminal, could that work?
