      getting too excited?

ahhh ok well a few nights ago i became lucid for a few seconds then went back to the dream world maybe it was low lucidity

also last night i wasnt lucid but i "felt" like i was doing watever i wanted without being consious then i suddenly got lucid and felt like the dream was fading so i tried to look at something but everything surrounding me was like a big grey surface so there was nothing to look at then i woke up

      oh well

is this because i was too excited or something?

remember things from your real life and try not to think about things too much, if you think to hard you'll wake yourself.

getting too exicted in a dream isnt too much of a worry, youll wake up, but youll be more likely to have a lucid dream the next night

If you get too excited and wake up, try to relax and dont move.
As a result, you will fall asleep within few seconds and continue your dream.
It's not guaranteed that the dream will be stable, but at least you will be lucid again...

most of my low lucidity dreams are interrupted by awakenings, but using this technique, I may extend them...

Try out some techniques to hold yourself in the dream, rubbing your hands or spinning etc. The first few time you get lucid it will have hard to sustain it, so don't worry, you are making progress.
