I usually don't do reality checks, but I actually did it as a joke in a dream I had this morning and it worked. But the second I realized I was dreaming the entire dream instantly became faded and began to rapidly go away. Does this happen to anyone else when they do a RL?

My dreams ALWAYS feel blurry when i wake up. But dude try this once you get lucid, ive done it and was really shocked. I asked myself if what i was seeing was perfect like in real life and not blurry at all and also told myself to remember this when i woke up. The answer was yes, while i was in the dream everything was perfect and as if it were real life. Then when i woke up from that dream i remember the entire thing being blurry lol, go figure. I think it just has something to do waking up idunno. But try that, i think you'll be suprised how vivid they are during the dream, and yet they feel like they were blurry once youve woken up.

Whenever I become lucid towards the end of the dream (as in, a lot has happened while not lucid), my dream almost instantly fades, as for some reason lucidity brings feeling back to my physical body. I'll be in my dream for a few more seconds, but I'll feel my body in bed, lying down. Yuck.

You got too excited once you realised you were dreaming. This happened to me the first time I did a Reality Check in a dream. You just got remember that TOO much of a rush of excitement will kill the dream. Just calm yourself down.

yeah as soon as my lucid dreams begin I have trouble with blurryness and blackouts. As far as the blackouts I can't get past those but the blurry I can beat. What I do is just grab hold of something solid within the dream. Then I will look at my hands and examine for a sec., look away, look again, then look away again. This helps everything to slow down and increases my dream clarity and dream stability.
