What is the best quality of Sleep for LDing?

My girlfriend realizes shes dreaming all the time. She is a really light sleeper and wakes up and falls back to sleep constantly. For this reason, do you think it would help me to constantly set my alarm throughout the night.. (every hour?) (when she's not with me of course) so that I can remind myself as often as possible about my Lucid intention?

      What do you think?

Every hour? Nah, I'd give yourself the first half of the night without interruption. The REM periods aren't that long in the beginning of the night anyway. I think it'd be most beneficial to wake up twice (and then one final time) in the early morning, maybe more on weekends (if you really want to).

^^^What he said. Plus, set the alarms at least 90 minutes apart becaue you want to try and catch yourself during REM sleep
