      Lightbulb changing views on SP

have you guys noticed how in every SP there's a report of a "shadowy" figure? is that somehow related to the actual experience or is there something more to it? maybe we see the scary images are actually what we expected from SP, so if we make up some good experiences about SP, people will gradually view SP as a nice experience... what do you guys think?

every time I have an SP, I would remember all the scary stuff I read on the internet... so if we could change that stereotype (right word?), it could motivate a lot of people in using SP as a stepping block for LD's. would this idea work? and is anyone willing to try?

I learned about SP before Old Hag. Therefore, I see SP as the gateway to lucid dreams. Just market it that way.

Or you could think of the shadowy figure as your protecter from actual evil things since in SP you can't protect yourself. Thats what I usually do....

The only reason they see these figures, I believe, is because of their fearful emotions. They were sleeping, and all of a sudden they are breathing shallow, their heartbeat is rapid, and they can't move! They have no clue what's going on, so naturally they feel scared. This fear literally manifests itself as the Old Hag hallucination. I think that just by knowing what sleep paralysis is, and the benefits it brings, people won't fear it anymore.

I never had sleep paralysis before i learned about Lucid Dream. Once I learned what SP was and I knew that it was all in my head I was never scared of it. I had SP a couple of times after learnng about LD's and can say for me its not scary at all
