my biggest problem used to be falling a sleep

Usually all I'm focused on is falling into a trance state, I don't think of nothing and just lay there until I start getting Hypnogogic Imagery then I visualize a specific place (Not trying to see the place instead feel as if your there) eventually the image starts to come into picture.

I usually imagine myself in a crowded gym

as soon as you become conscious in the dream focus on a specific goal...in my case I'm looking for the exit which I then expect to see something different when I open the door I see a whole different place and that is when I star my WILDs

This thread is about what you did, when you first started to have WILDS regularly. What helped you?

Thanx for your help so far.

The only problem I had was I'd fall asleep, as a result I'd just go to sleep before actually trying to WILD...but what happened everytime I go to sleep I tend to always try to WILD and when I hit the point of flicking in and out of being awake I try to hold that for as long as possible until I actually fall asleep.

Interesting point of view. Thats superb observation. I also readed about it some time ago. I am still curisous, what makes you return, when you repeatly fall asleep. . I know that state, But the only thing, which returned me back was external stimuly. I can clearly remember that at that time i had my first SP onset. As it was first one, it was pretty scary.

Hmm. Interesting. Anyone. Could you add your experiences?
