      Melatonin/B6 Stack

      Hey LDers,

Anyone know of a good melatonin and B6 stack I could do before bed or during night? I'm looking for when its best to take and how much. Or can you refer other threads?

      Thanks!

      3mg Melatonin, 250-300mg b6 30 to 60 mins before bedtime.

Dont use everyday because you will develop a tolerance to it.

200mg of B6 kept me up all night and gave me a migraine. I would start lower then that. IMHO, at 300mg you're getting awful close to where there have been reports of brain damage.

"However, there have been a few case reports of individuals who developed sensory neuropathies at doses of less than 500 mg daily over a period of months. None of the studies, in which an objective neurological examination was performed, found evidence of sensory nerve damage at intakes of pyridoxine below 200 mg/day. In order to prevent sensory neuropathy in virtually all individuals, the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine set the tolerable upper intake level (UL) for pyridoxine at 100 mg/day for adults. Because placebo-controlled studies have generally failed to show therapeutic benefits of high doses of pyridoxine, there is little reason to exceed the UL of 100 mg/day." - Wikipedia

As a side note, it had been very helpful for me to wake up at 3am when I wild and take b5/b6/melatonin .

When I fail I always have very vivid / memorable dreams and it helps for me to get sucked into a dream for some reason.

I have a pill I take occasionally which gives me fantastic lucids, but as someone said, taken daily you build up an immunity. So I kind of reserve it for when I want to have a really great lucid experience. It uses 100mg hydroxytryptophan, 100mg valerian root extract and 10mg B6. I'm a natural, but this stuff really gives me far better lucids.
