      Q about WILD...

So I just recently got into the whole LDing scene (I've only had 4 LDs since Dec) and I usually get there DILD style. But now I'm really interested in the whole WILD thing - because it's so direct and all - and SP and whatnot so I've tried WILDing a few times...

However, every time I try to get into SP, I end up feeling disconnected from my body from the neck down and tingly, but when I try to move I still can... I never get to the point of total paralysis. (And I can do this at any time really... I'm pretty good at relaxing. )

If anyone can give me some tips and whatnot that'd be great. Otherwise I'm gonna try WBTB and see if that works.

I could talk/type about WILD all day, since it really varies from person to person and there are so many ways to do it. Is there any more info you could provide? All I can say in general is really try to do it after waking up at night, at least until you can do it a few times. Try to relax as much as possible and don't think about WILDing or SP. Looking forward to hear more.
Willing to talk about/listen to anything you have to say.

Hmm... more information... well sometimes when I'm falling into the semi-paralysis I accidentally do things with my dream body, like I'll be daydreaming about being on the beach then I'll reach up and touch my face and sort of half feel it... like if I was touching a second body separate from the physical one... but still mine. And sometimes I see grayish apparitions and images, but idk if they're just random patterns in the blackness you see when you close your eyes. Yeah pretty much it.

And I think I'll try the waking up thing tonite. Thanks for the help.

Yeah i try to relax and think of other things when the sensations start. Although i can only get it to happen once a night, if i dont get wild from the first time, i cant get it at all.

Bolded is the important bit. Try to cultivate those sorts of feelings. As you focus more on doing things with your imagined body, your real body will fade away more and more.

yeah ive been having the same problem. id lay down and get comfortable and count with by inhales and exhales and when i get to around 150 i start to feel tingly and feel like im swaying like crazy. today when i tried it i got the H I stuff but as i layed and repeated "I am dreaming" i never got put into a dream and gave up. it felt like i was laying down for 30 mins but turned out to be an hour and 20 how should i find out i have SP without risking moving my actually body and having to start over seeing how its only my second day trying this im not really in that much for a hurry

Yeah I mean without any stimuli to work from your brain is not going to do anything, normal dreams are caused by random thoughts, that become reality slowly, practice visualisation and tactile movement, there seriously needs to be some kind of topic about that in the tutorial section I mean so many people are having trouble with this exact thing, and not to mention it's extremely valuable to develope, but you can't find anything on the internet about it. But I've practiced this stuff and I've never been in any sp since because the dream begins before sp has a chance to even be felt .
