excellent words of wisdom. my best ld's usually come later in the morning, so the later i sleep, the better my chances of recall and ld's. i love to sleep in as long as i want with no alarm! i can get long (hour or more) WILDs this way too. |

OK, a little about me first. I basically, "do nothing outside of the dreamworld to get my lucids (that's what I always tell people)". But I do (though this is just what I like to do, though it helps), sleep in on the weekends. I "wake up and fall asleep, wake up and fall asleep", I just love my sleep, and you guys should too since it leads to LDs. I get a good 80% of my fairly large amount of LDs this way. 14 so far this month (I am not saying I'm the best in the slightest, but better then most), though I don't mean to brag, I'm just trying to reinforce my point. So, I'd wake up, still wanna sleep!, then fall back to sleep, and since it's later in the day I at least half the time have a LD-maybe more ofthen then that. |

lol, this is soooo not for me. I did exactly that today, woke up at least ten times (no exaggeration!) and each time I thought about trying to WILD and though, "nah, I'll do it next time". No DILDs though, I think you're just one of the lucky/more experienced/lucky to be more experienced ones. But actually, I get a lot of my LDs (which isn't actually saying much) when I'm napping. |

I agree, that's how i got one of my first wilds and milds and i remember my mild so clearly and my lucid earlier that night. I think sleeping in is a great way to do do the following methods, maybe wilds, definitely deilds and probably milds. |

OK, well, it is easier to get LDs later in the day, so the later it is, the more possible it is. I read somewhere that your logic is more turned on when it gets later because of like the light, so you're more likely to become lucid. All that I said may not totally be acurate, but acurate enough to where you are in fact more likely to have LDs when it is later morning. |

It's just sleeping longer than you normally do. Like on Saturdays. That's when most people I know sleep in. I usually sleep until the late hours of the morning into the early afternoon in Saturday. Which is what Savy is talking about; sleeping later to have a better chance of getting to Lucid Dream. |
