I've noticed a lot of times when I initially get hungry my body is sending those signals and my stomache starts to hurt. But after a while, I will get a "second wind" and I am no longer hungry without having eaten anything. It would be pretty cool if a reaction to hunger was something one could control and that it was just in your head. One could hypothetically then "tell themself they are full" and that might avoid or block the signals the body sends that your stomache is hurting because you are hungry.
This is true, but be careful with this. It will not actually keep you from going hungry, your brain will just ignore the nerves that tell you you are. I would suggest finding out what is causing the problem before you try getting rid of the pain ( after all, we feel pain for a reason ).
