A new way to Reality Check

Hey, I haven't been on the forums for a few months, but I just had this awesome idea and I had to share it with you guys. I don't know if someone has already thought of this and posted it, and if it has, I apologize for reposting old information.

Anyway, so the original RC works like this: You ask yourself if you're dreaming, then you try to do something crazy, and you do it so much that it carries over into your dreams. Except of course, you get so used to it failing, that it can also fail in the dream world. I may have thought up a way to bypass that problem.

What if, when doing your RC, you imagine that you are dreaming? You do your RC, think or say something like "holy crap I'm dreaming!" and then imagine for a little while, that you're dreaming and you're controlling your dream. You can close your eyes and visualize for a bit, or you could imagine crazy dream-stuff happening while you're going about your day.

The idea is that it trains you to think that every time you do a RC, you are in fact, dreaming, and that this automatic "I'm dreaming!" state of mind carries over into your dreams. I just thought it up last night so I haven't had enough time to test it out myself, but I want more people than just me trying it out.

So give it a try, and tell me what happens!

      Sounded good at first.

But then, maybe you would get trained to think you're dreaming so much that it wouldn't carry over - that wording is kinda confusing. In real life you say you're dreaming, even though you know you're not. Maybe in you're dream you would just think wow I'm dreaming, even though you really don't think you are, because in real life you wouldn't really be thinking it anyway.

Tried it dosen't work...it's called dream rehearsal. One thing I realised about this way to incubate is that you are merging reality awareness when awake(normal convention of the way things are) with dream awareness(crazy stuff that don't conform to normal convention). In an actual dream/normal dream before the RC....it's reality awareness where everything dream related is non-existant, only reality stuff or what we think is reality even if it's crazy, btw RCing is not reality. So your idea of doing crazy stuff with the RC or crazy stuff(dream related) with no RC will not work unless the mind is already in dream awareness and remembers to RC. BUT.....if you say you do it during WBTB or in between wake ups in the night then yes it may work and will be under MILD.

What if you end up in your dream, which looks like reality most of the time, and you end up only imagining crazy things happen (just as you do in real life)?
